Alan Tannenbaum, the founding partner of Tannenbaum Lemole & Kleinberg, is a board-certified Florida construction lawyer concentrating his practice in representing owners preparing for major construction and repair projects, and defending and pursuing claims for owners in disputes with developers, design professionals, homebuilders and contractors. He serves as construction counsel for condominium and homeowner associations, represents governmental entities and commercial owners in disputes with design professionals and contractors, and advocates for single-family homeowners in a variety of construction defect and homebuilder default cases.

Alan lectures regularly to community association managers and board members on a variety of construction and community association topics. He has served on Hurricane Preparedness panels in Orlando and Sarasota and has published articles on construction and community association topics in regional and national publications of the community association field. He has testified before the Florida Legislature on building code enforcement. He argued before the Supreme Court of Florida in 1985 the case of Trianon Park v. The City of Hialeah, cited nationwide on the issue of sovereign immunity.

Alan is the proud father of four bright, young adults each making a positive mark on the world. In his spare time, he is usually hiking in the woods or practicing yoga. His interests are the environment, healthy living, educating community association managers and board members, and supporting a fair and just society.
